Disguised dedicated hosting

November 18th, 2011 Posted in Entertainment

One of the best costumes I’ve ever seen was someone dressed as a board game. They painted cardboard to look like the game board, and wore it like a vest. Then they slipped this over tights and a turtle neck with the game pieces glued on the sleeves.  They wore the spinner on their head like a hat, and made earrings out of dice. Another great costume was someone dressed like a computer. They had dressed their baby as an exterior hard drive.  They were followed by two other people dressed in formal wear who were very solicitous to everyone the met.  They were dressed as dedicated hosting.  That was genius.  Everyone at the party grinned and groaned as they got the inside joke.  The capper was the baby dressed as a computer mouse and then toddler dressed as a printer.  If they had another kid, they could have had a netbook.

What Will Cloud Hosting Do For Me?

Why has cloud hosting been such a welcome venture? Most organizations are dependent on software and applications to function. All their departments are thriving on these and using them for an array of purposes like advertising, record keeping and the like. With the surge in ecommerce, an even more technology based environment is established where business itself is commuted online. In such an environment, there is dire need for cheap and easy to maintain software. For such organizations, cloud computing is the perfect solution. To understand it, one must think of it as a restricted body of water in which a few fishes servers are present. As long as they are in that body, all the services provided by the central provider are at their disposal. This means that individual technology does not need to be purchased and maintenance is central. The cost is dramatically cut down and every computer can have access to many more services.
